MEET JODIE LESLIE!
Recording artist Jodie Leslie - a five foot, farm raised gal - has taken those hard working values she was raised on and put them into her passion for music. She has performed at the Canadian Grey Cup, the Bluebird Cafe in Nashville, the Canadian Finals Rodeo, for the Premier of Alberta, and for the Prime Minister’s wife (and her dog). She has also been honored to open for her country recording artist mentors Ben and Noel Haggard, George Canyon, Michelle Wright, Grand ‘Ol Opry’s Bill Anderson (Whisperin’ Bill), and Canadian Icon Carroll Baker.
With a powerhouse voice, her sound seems to colour outside the lines - and that has opened doors to her in the pop/rock world as well, having also been invited to share the stage with pop icons Brian Adams, Chantal Kreviazuk, Gino Vannelli and other well known pop/rock icons.
The diversity in acceptance of Jodie Leslie’s voice and music seems to point to the fact that fans both young and old - mainstream and country - seem to gravitate to the positive messages in her work.
Her new singles “GIVE GOD THE GLORY” and “TELL GOD” produced by Sal Oliveri (Pink/Chris Stapleton) speak to the power of prayer & the amazing relationship we can have with God if we just call on Him! We are so excited to share this new music with the world, and honoured to have received a 2025 LIT MUSIC AWARD in BEST CONTEMPORARY CHRISTIAN GOSPEL MUSIC, as well as a 2025 SELAH MUSIC AWARD for CANADIAN ALTERNATE SONG OF THE YEAR. We are honoured to participate in the upcoming 2025 CHRISTIAN CREATIVE ARTS AWARDS with the CANADIAN GOSPEL MUSIC ASSOCIATION as nominees in the categories of BEST ROCK SONG, and BEST SOUTHERN GOSPEL SONG to be held on August 15th in Mississauga, Ontario.
“U PLUS ME” is an upbeat & refreshing perspective on the hardships we encounter in this life, & leaves the listener feeling charged full of positive energy and focused on what matters the most!
