MEET JODIE LESLIE!
Recording artist Jodie Leslie - a five foot, farm raised gal - has taken those hard working values she was raised on and put them into her passion for music. She has performed at the Canadian Grey Cup, the Bluebird Cafe in Nashville, the Canadian Finals Rodeo, for the Premier of Alberta, and for the Prime Minister’s wife (and her dog). She has also been honored to open for her mentors Ben and Noel Haggard, George Canyon, Michelle Wright, Grand ‘Ol Opry’s Bill Anderson (Whisperin’ Bill), and Canadian Icon Carroll Baker.
With a powerhouse voice, her sound seems to colour outside the lines - and that has opened doors to her in the pop/rock world as well, having also been invited to share the stage with icons Brian Adams, Chantal Kreviazuk, Gino Vannelli, The Stampeders, Sweet, Prism, Harlequin, Dr. Hook, Lee Aaron, Allanah Myles, Juice Newton and other well known pop/rock artists.
The diversity in acceptance of Jodie Leslie’s voice and music seems to point to the fact that fans both young and old - mainstream and country - seem to gravitate to the positive messages in her work.
Her new singles “GIVE GOD THE GLORY” and “TELL GOD” produced by Sal Oliveri (Pink/Chris Stapleton) speak to the power of prayer & the relationship we can have with God if we just call on Him! We are so excited to share this new music with the world, and honoured to have received the above awards for the work.
